The Meehl Solutions Trickler is a precision scale-and-trickler system built around the A&D FX-120i and FX-123 balance, recognized for its stability, sensitivity, and reliability in competitive reloading.

The design is specifically engineered for commonly used competition reloading powders on the market, such as difficult-to-meter stick (extruded) types like Varget, H4350, IMR 4831, N150, N555, and similar variants—ideal for high-volume PRS (Precision Rifle Series) reloaders who demand consistent, efficient throws. Typical charge weights achieve throws in 6–10 seconds, with average consistency within 0.02–0.04 grain tolerances depending on powder type and assuming proper setup and configuration. Under controlled conditions and with attention to setup and environment, variance often narrows to sub-0.02 grain (approximately 0.05% relative error with a 40 grain charge weight). This level of repeatability aligns with or exceeds leading automated dispensers in the market.

(Please note: Performance cannot be guaranteed with any powders not currently listed as tested above! This system is optimized for stick (extruded) powders and will not perform well with flake, ball powders or particularly small and irregular extruded powders.)

Developed as a personal project by an active precision shooter and competitor, the system reflects real-world reloading experience: loading for PRS, F-Class, NRL Hunter, or other disciplines where charge uniformity directly impacts group size and score. The goal was and is simple—eliminate variability in powder throws while keeping costs reasonable for those who invest heavily in quality brass, bullets, and primers.

The Meehl Solutions Trickler prioritizes value without reducing build quality or capability. It uses proven components and straightforward engineering to provide dependable results for serious reloaders.

Also we are proud to be working with Dead Drop Powder Cups to include a highly optimized powder cup with included with every trickler. This custom-designed cup minimizes bounce and spill, ensuring cleaner, more efficient powder handling during the reloading process.

Furthermore we are excited to share that we are working with Dram Worx to provide the highest quality Pyrex Hopper body’s that will improve flow stability and reduce static issues.
