Connecting first is optional - it shows your current firmware version. If you skip it,
you will be asked to select the device port when you click Flash Firmware so the
device can be rebooted into bootloader mode automatically.
Firmware Update
How it works: This tool uses ESP Web Tools
to flash the selected firmware over USB. Click Flash Firmware and select your device's
port - it will reboot into bootloader mode. Then click Open Installer and pick the
port named USB JTAG/serial debug unit.
Do not disconnect the USB cable during the update.
If automatic bootloader entry fails, hold BOOT while pressing RESET on the
device before clicking Flash Firmware.
